SPED Tricks and Treats

I'm joining in with my SPED blogging buddies to bring you some tricks and treats for Halloween.

My trick is a simple and inexpensive way to work with ten frame for children with poor fine motor control.

I picked up these Halloween ice cube trays at the Dollar Store.

I also picked these mini erasers.

Together they made an excellent 10 frame.
The children put the erasers in the indents and they won't fall out.

Now for the freebie.

This cute little sight word game contains all the pre-primer sight words.
The children have to find the word "boo" hidden under the words.
I order to look, they have to say the words.
I hope you like it.

Head on over to The Resource Teacher for more Tricks and Treats by clicking the button below.

Those ice cube trays are soooooo cute! I'm using a muffin tray for a counting task now (with the same erasers!) and it's great because I change each cup to a different number each day to keep my little guys on their toes!

I love the sight word game! I am going to print it out to use with my students. I have yet to try the ice cube trays for 10s frames. I will definitely need to check it out.
