Free Kindergarten Halloween Alphabet Match

Halloween is just around the corner and we are working on the alphabet.

We have been putting the alphabet in order.

Uppercase

And lowercase

We have been matching the uppercase to the lowercase.

We have also been playing a matching game.  Depending on the level the children are working at, we have done this with matching lowercase to lowercase, uppercase to uppercase and uppercase to lowercase.

You can pick this up for free by clicking on the picture below.

Bugs and a Freebie

Are you ready for the end of the year?
I know I'm getting there.

With all the things that need finishing before the end of the year, I'm not sure how I'm going to fit it all in.

For the past month we have been talking about bugs.

My grade ones have been working on hard on addition.

While some of my K's are still working on letter recognition.

Dominoes is something we really haven't played much this year.
The kids had a great time playing this fun number game.

You can grab this freebie below.

Happy Teacher appreciation week.  In celebration, my store will be 20% off today and tomorrow.  Don't forget your promo code.

Alphabet Freebie

Does it feel like spring yet where you are?  Although it doesn't feel very springy here, I thought a summer freebie would get us feeling in the warmer weather mood.

So here is a little freebie for you.

Enjoy.

Thanksgiving Work Stations

Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone here in Canada, I've been working on some Thanksgiving work stations for my American friends.

Here are nine turkey work stations in both literacy and math.

Updated Halloween Math and Literacy Activities

This was one of the first Halloween products I made back in 2011.  It was sorely in need of a face lift.

I used Velcro along the side and on the letters to keep the spiders in place.  This is helpful for children with poor fine motor skills who keep knocking them off.

We still need to practice putting numbers in order to 20.  This game will be perfect for that.

You can never get enough practice counting.

I'm introducing number words this month.

I've included some flash cards for the children to practice putting letters in the correct order to spell some Halloween words.

Don't forget, if you have already bought this, you can download the upgrades for free.  If you haven't grabbed it, it's on sale for 1/2 price until the weekend.  Click on the first pictures to go to my TpT store.

Ice Cream Fun

My kids just love playing with ice cream in our house center.
We even made some homemade ice cream with our Play and Freeze Ice Cream maker.

Homemade is so delicious and it's so easy to do.  Just add the ingredients, put the lids on and roll it around.

In honour of our ice cream day I updated my Ice Cream sight word games and bundled them.  They are half price until the weekend.

They are of course, available separately too.
